In the US, TikTok Shop charges a referral fee of 6% for most categories and 5% for select jewelry and pre-owned categories, according to its published rate table. Payment processing is included. In the UK, the standard platform commission is 9%, with a reduced rate for eligible electronics and beauty products. There is no listing fee or monthly fee.
In the US, TikTok applies the rate to the customer payment plus any TikTok-funded discount, minus tax. In the UK, the commission applies to net sales plus buyer-paid shipping plus any platform discount. Creator (affiliate) commissions are separate and come on top of the platform fee.
In the US, TikTok returns the referral fee when an order is refunded, but keeps a refund administration fee equal to 20% of the referral fee, capped at $5 per SKU.
